Into the wild

In a matter of days
I will have set out on the West Highland Way,
the 96 mile route from Milngavie to Fort William.

We’ve opted for the 7 day hike,
staying in a range of hostels, guest houses and B&Bs
along the way.

Our stops of choice are as follows:
Drymen,
Rowardennan,
Inverarnan,
Tyndrum,
Inveroran,
Kinlochleven,
Fort William.

I’m most looking forward to the Microlodge Hobbit Hut
at Kinlochleven.
It may look like we’ll be sleeping in a large, fancy barrel,
but I can’t wait!

My bag is pretty much packed;
I’m traveling as light as possible
within the confines of what is sensible.

 The camera’s coming,
so stay tuned and I’ll aim to share some pics
of our exciting journey up the west of Scotland!
