We’ve passed half way!
53 miles in total, bringing us to Tyndrum on a glorious sunny day. The paths were far easier to handle after yesterday, and a new knee brace gave me extra support along the way. We did notice a few others starting to struggle as well though, particularly in the heat.
The scenery is absolutely stunning as we enter the highlands. To be surrounded by snow-capped peaks and coniferous forests, as you stride out across wide open plains, is incredibly rewarding.
We’re both feeling a bit more tired in general, and very much more in awe of the West Highland Way runners who complete any section of the race!
We’re now at our hostel and showered, and now taking advantage of the mobile signal!
