Weekly Photo Challenge: Illumination

When something is illuminated, other details are cast into shadow.

I’m taking a stab at this week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post:
Share a picture that means ILLUMINATION to you.

Man-made illuminations tend to have purpose, be it decorative or practical.
Natural light is more haphazard and changeable,
depending upon the time of day, weather and so on.
To me, this makes it an interesting and unpredictable subject.

The picture I have chosen is from our fishing trip north of Stornoway.
It makes me think of looking at the dark side of the moon…
Although on second thoughts,
my boyfriend might not appreciate the comparison!
