A little look at the Linn of Dee

Last summer, a couple of friends came up to visit on a wee Scottish tour.
We decided to drive them out to Braemar for a taste o’ the Highlands
and ended up going a little further to take a look at the nearby Linn of Dee.

1. Because we were curious about what it was
2. Because it was rated highly on TripAdvisor

As it turns out, the Linn of Dee is very pretty.
A number of woodland paths allow for exploration around an impressive gorge,
carved out by the River Dee.
A waterfall flows beneath a beautiful gothic bridge, pooling below.

We even spotted some eels, which of course we noted on their wildlife board!
